Lucknow: Under the directives of the Directorate of Sports, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow, the state-level women’s hockey tournament was organized as part of the Women’s Sports Festival from November 18 to November 20, 2024, at Guru Gobind Singh Sports College, Lucknow, and from November 18 to November 19, 2024, at K.D. Singh Babu Stadium, Lucknow.

Hockey Tournament Results

  1. Match 9:
    • Teams: Prayagraj Division vs. Gorakhpur Division
    • Result: Gorakhpur Division defeated Prayagraj Division by 4-0.
  2. Match 10:
    • Teams: Meerut Division vs. Mirzapur Division
    • Result: Meerut Division defeated Mirzapur Division by 1-0.
  3. Match 11:
    • Teams: Ayodhya Division vs. Kanpur Division
    • Result: Kanpur Division defeated Ayodhya Division by 3-0.
  4. Match 12:
    • Teams: Basti Division vs. Lucknow Division
    • Result: Lucknow Division defeated Basti Division by 9-0.
  5. Match 13:
    • Teams: Varanasi Division vs. Gorakhpur Division
    • Result: Gorakhpur Division defeated Varanasi Division by 5-1.
  6. Match 14:
    • Teams: Jhansi Division vs. Meerut Division

Tennis Competition

The women’s tennis event concluded with a closing ceremony held at 12:00 PM. The Regional Sports Officer of Lucknow distributed prizes to the winners.
